The ancient Greeks used various crystals and gemstones according to their need for healing. They were believed to transform a person’s energy by protecting them from any negative energy. This was the process of how clear quartz crystal came into origination.

The most beautiful gemstone today, ‘Amethyst’ was also well-known back then for its detoxification properties. Amethyst ideally means ‘not drunken’ in Greek and hence Greeks believed to drink from amethyst vessels for a clear mind. Apart from amethyst, Hematite was also quite known to provide courage and strength. Hence, it was worn by warriors during war-times.
